Web architecture, content design, and management
Managing a successful website means knowing your website inside and out. Content should be aligned to business goals and customers' needs. Web content should be visually exciting and interactive. A current photo library is critical to any successful website. I have worked on three websites over the course of my career. I inherited all of them, and my focus was keeping them up to date and relevant to users' needs. I learned to use the content management systems associated with the website.
The first website I worked on was the Cleveland Skating Club’s where I planned, wrote, and designed web content and architecture to increase member engagement. I created a members-only portal which contained news on club events and sports programming. My experience continued with the Association for Continuing Education at Case Western Reserve University where I managed web content by writing copy, creating graphics, and managing information architecture. At the Cleveland Leadership Center, I managed user roles to create secure content that only a target group could access. I processed and assisted current class members and alumni with user accounts. I also created web graphics and buttons selecting photos.
